BACKWARD DESIGN
My understanding of backward design is that it is a framework for our lesson plans intended to make learning more effective in the classroom. By getting crystal clear on the end goal, we can create a curriculum and assessment model that will ensure optimal results. The approach focuses on getting students to understand what we're teaching rather than simply pass a test, for example. It is a results-focused approach that encourages teachers to create learning experiences within the classroom.
